largest and BEST Hand Dance Performing Arts Troupe
in the country, Smooth & Ez has performed from Maine to Georgia and from
Virginia to
California. We have provided entertainment for private
family gatherings as
well as for public celebrations. We perform Old-school,
which will dazzle
you with an
up-beat tempo and intricate footwork. This
style tends to be
nostalgic for our more seasoned followers while at the same time attracting
our youthful crowd. We
subsequently created our own
signature style of
Hand Dance described as smooth and easy. This style demonstrates a
smoother more elegant execution of
the dance which tends to let
our more
seasoned followers realize that they can still
enjoy
participating in this art
form.
Whereas, some boast about being the best, we boast
about providing
you with the
BEST skill level of entertainment. Our
performances not only
entertain you but
also demonstrate proper execution of this dance. A complete
performance can
extend to a full 50 minutes including
general couple dancing, trio and quadruple partnering, lifts and drops, synchronized routines, latest specialty and line dances
and
audience
participation.
We have been honored by such greats as
Frankie Manning
and the legendary
Norma Miller, First Lady of Swing.
Our style of
performance and teaching method have been so widely
received that
we were solely responsible for having Hand Dance declared the "official" DANCE of Washington, D.C.
